Warrant of Fitness
A warrant of fitness (WOF) is a 12 monthly ( year 2000 or newer ) or 6 Monthly ( year 2000 or older ) safety check which ensures your vehicle is safe to operate on the roads. We can sort this for you, including any repairs big or small and even send you reminders when its due again!
Servicing
As a General rule we recommend you book in for a Professional comprehensive service check every 6 months or 10,000km
(whichever comes first ) Every manufacturer is slightly different however give us a call and we can let you know when yours is due and send a reminder if that suits for you.
Cambelt Replacement
Cambelts (timing belts) are a VITAL part of your engine’s components, and these need to be replaced from time to time.
All manufacturers have different replacement intervals so feel free to give us a call or stop in and we can check if yours has been done, or the interval it needs to be done at.
Clutch Replacement
Clutch feeling spongy, slipping, hard to engage gears?
These are all signs of a bad/worn clutch and could require replacement or adjustment. Feel free to stop in and we can give you an obligation free check/quote.

As a rule of thumb, a battery in a vehicle that is exposed to the weather ( carport, driveway ) usually last 3-4 years but can last up to 6-8 years A vehicle that is garaged and not exposed to the weather normally lasts 5-6 years but can last up to 10-12 years. we can check the condition of your battery and advise if it begins to show some signs of failure and prevent a flat battery with a new one.

Tyres
BIG tyres, Little tyres, Bike tyres, AG tyres, Tubes. If it’s black, round and holds air we can help! Road tyres require 1.5mm of tread for use on NZ roads. Although stopping distance is more than doubled from a tyre that is 3mm and one that is 1.5mm. Pop in and we can check your tyres and pressures!
Wheel Alignment
We adjust the angles of the wheels to match the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure your vehicle stays straight on the road and gets the best life out of your tyres! these a recommended when you get a new set of tyres or when the steering wheel is off centre, or the vehicle pulls off to one side.
Puncture Repair
Most tyre Punctures can be repaired but not all. We will do our best to repair your tyre if we can, but we will only repair a tyre that is safe for you to carry on your journey.
Suspension Check or Repair
The suspension in your car takes all the vibrations, bumps and impacts. Worn bushes, ball joints, shocks or other suspension components can cause steering wheel vibrations, rough ride, increased shopping distance and badly worn tyres.

Can you service and/or repair European vehicles?
Yes we can! In fact we regularly service and repair European vehicles. We have good access to European spare parts meaning that most general service and repair items are available on the same day for most European cars.Meaning your Euro beauty will be back on the road in no time.
How much does it cost for a general check over?
Usually a general visual check over will cost you $45*
Do I need to know what tyres go on my vehicle
No you dont, we have an expert team that can recommend different tyres for your car, Check your tyre pressure and let you know what PSI to use to make sure you get the most out of them.
What happens if I fail a WOF?
If you fail a wof , by law you are only allowed to drive your vehicle too and from a repairer. If your vehicle is with us and it fails it’s warrant we can check too see if we can get the parts same day, at a reasonable cost, and call and advise you of the repairs/costs and get it back to you same day if possible. Or you can bring it back at a later date.
